How pip value is calculated
For a pair quoted in your account currency, such as EUR/USD on a USD account, one pip on a standard lot is worth a fixed $10. Scale that by your lot size: a mini lot is $1 per pip, a micro lot is $0.10 per pip.
For pairs where your account currency is the base, like USD/JPY, the pip value depends on the current exchange rate, which is why the pips calculator asks for the pair's price on those. For accounts in a currency other than the pair's quote currency, the value is converted at the current rate, so it shifts a little as the market moves.
